In addition to the candidates for federal office, the voters in Jefferson County will have a say in electing candidates for multiple state and local offices in 2024.
In May, voters elected local school board, magistrates, judges, and justices. These races were decided along side the primary elections to choose candidates who will run in the November for county commissioner, assessor, sheriff, prosecuting attorney, surveyor, the House of Delegates, the State Senate, and the various state officers.
Early voting for the 2024 general election begins on October 23 and runs through November 2. Visit the Jefferson County Clerk’s website for dates, times, and the location of early voting.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. You can visit the West Virginia Secretary of State’s website to find your voting location.
