The local public libraries in Jefferson County are are all running reading programs for kids this summer. The theme for 2022 is “Oceans of Possibilities.” During the reading challenge which runs through July, kids will keep a reading log, participate in activities, and have opportunities to win prizes. Bolivar-Harpers Ferry Public Library’s program began on May 13.
Charles Town Public Library’s program starts on June 6.
South Jefferson’s Public Library’s program began on May 31.
Shepherdstown Public Library’s program kicks off on June 4, at 10 am with “goody bags” for the first 50 kids who pick up a reading log.
