Trail of Bones at Cool Spring Preserve
The “Trail of Bones” hike is a family-friendly event hosted by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society at the Cool Spring Nature Preserve. Attendees will receive a quick lesson on animal skull identification, after which they can take a self-guided hike/stroll along a half-mile section of trail and try to identify animal skulls and bones hidden along the way. After the hike, guests are welcome to enjoy a warm campfire and toasted marshmallows.
Friday, October 22, 5 – 8 pm at Cool Springs Nature Preserve. Details and pre-registration (required) at PotomacValleyAudubon.org (under calendar).
