The company specializes in granite countertops, but its experienced team provides full kitchen and bath renovations from demolition to completion. Utilizing state-of-the-art design software, only the highest quality products, and the most friendly, professional labor force in the region, CTS handles plumbing, renovation changes, and offers everything needed for a new kitchen or bath. Leading the way is owner Jason Singer, who started the business after a bad experience with a stone dealer when he worked for his parents’ kitchen and bath store in Hagerstown in the early 2000s. “We weren’t happy with their service,” he said. “We’ve always been extremely customer-service oriented, and back then, it wasn’t happening with these folks. So, I decided to get into the granite business—pretty much self-taught. I bought some tools online, took some scraps out in the backyard, and started working. That was the first step to where we are now.” Thirteen years later, CTS offers just about everything you can dream up: Solaris sinks, quality kitchen cabinets, faucets and fixtures, custom backsplash and tile, and granite or quartz countertops. “Since 2013, we’ve opened up a part of the business called Earth Art Studios,” Singer explained. “Which is what we call our granite showroom—where you go in and we try and create a retail experience like you can’t get at other granite places … a more high-end atmosphere, if you will. It’s almost like picking out a piece of jewelry for your home. We give folks the ability to do a 3D rendering—photographing all of our slabs onto a green screen so people can design their kitchen however they want it. It’s what distinguishes us: no surprises.” Boasting nearly 40 employees, CTS actually operates beneath two core values. “The other one is, honestly, what we’ve built the company on: doing what we say we’re going to do,” added Singer. “We set the expectations and we come through. That philosophy has also helped the company to evolve. To deliver more and deliver better. In turn, this business has become a place for people to grow, as well. It’s always been about pride of ownership and putting my best foot forward, and equally, creating opportunities for other people, other families. I look up every day and know that I have thirty or more other families to look after—not just my own—and I don’t take that lightly.” — You can also find CTS on Facebook right here.
