Farm to Table Wine Tasting

Wine Expert David Faulkner from Craft and Estate wines will lead us through three different wines and one cocktail while dining on local farm to table food.
This will be a relaxed tasting with local foods set in a buffet style, with David Faulkner pouring and describing the wines from his tasting station.
WINES: Coriole Chenin Blanc, Tournon Rose’, Pikes Shiraz and featuring a cocktail made with Jack Rudy Elderflower Tonic.
FOOD: Soup, salad and more featuring fresh eggplant, squash, tomato, cucumber and herbs.
Food sourced from the folowing farms: Wysong Farm, Miller’s Farm Market, Smith’s Market and Peace in the Valley Herb Farm.

More about David Faulkner:
He was born and raised in New Zealand and moved to Spain and then Scotland before getting recruited to NC to play college golf. He worked in fine dining restaurants while in college, and after graduation managed wine stores/restaurants then worked as a wine rep for 4 years. He has been the Craft and Estate (Wine and spirit importers) South East/Mid-Atlantic regional manager for over 8 years.
Craft and Estate was opened in 2004 to manage The Country Vintner’s (distributor) import portfolio, and to take the wines into new US markets. They sell to 50 states across the country.By:
